Why do I need a Cradle or how does it work?
The cradle is needed for those areas, where RF signal is poor. It should be operated with a dongle (AX326) for high signal reception.

Do subscribers need to install any software to operate a Dongle?
Yes, you need to install WCM (Wireless Connection Manager), which is preloaded inside the dongle and it is plug & play.

Do subscribers need to install any software to operate a Cradle?
No, the cradle acts as a remote antenna only for dongles and can be operated with the dongle’s software.

What is the Ollo Indoor Modem with WiFi?
The Ollo Indoor Modem with WiFi (IX380) is an integrated and all-in-one single modem that supports Internet access through LAN cable and WiFi to allow multiple user sharing.

What are the differences between AX326 USB Dongle and IX380 Indoor Modem with WiFi?
The AX326 USB modem is designed to allow a single user to access the Internet connection by connecting through USB port of your computer/laptop. The IX380 comes with a built in WiFi adaptor to enable connection sharing along with 2 (two) RJ-45 port to use via LAN port of your computer.

What are the contents in the IX380 Indoor Modem package?
The modem package contains the IX380 Modem, power adapter, a LAN cable, warranty card and a quick user guide manual.

What is the warranty period of the IX380 Indoor Modem?
12 months warranty is provided when you buy the modem. Conditions are mentioned on the warranty card.

What is the voice port for?
The IX380 Modem has voice ports but currently the voice service is not available.

I am an existing AX326 USB modem owner. I like the IX380 Indoor Modem. Can I change my AX326 USB modem to the IX380 Indoor Modem?
No, currently it’s not possible.

How to enable/disable wifi mode in IX380?
There is a small black button on the backside of Modem (leveled by WLAN ON/OFF), which you can use for wifi turn ON/OFF.

What is the WiFi specification on IX380 Indoor Modem?
The IX380 is compatible with IEEE 802.11 b/g standards.

Can I use other WiFi router/AP?
Yes, you can use any other WiFi router/AP with IX380.

Can the IX380 be powered by the USB port?
No, the IX380 must be powered by the supplied power adaptor.

How far can the WiFi on the IX380 cover?
The IX380 WiFi connection can support up to 30 meters in open areas depending on environmental factors (e.g. walls, location of the WiFi-enabled computers, etc).

How many people can share the Internet connection via the WiFi connection on IX380 modem?
The Internet connection can be shared between 2 to 10 computers, but the speed will be dependant on the package you have. The higher speed packages give more people sharing capability for the same Internet connection.

What networking features does IX380 support?
The IX380 supports Port Forwarding, Dynamic Domain Name Service (DDNS), DHCP IP Configuration, and WiFi configuration.

How do I access the IX380 configuration page?
Open any internet browser on your computer and key in the URL http://192.168.1.1 . The IX380 web-based login page will appear. The default login username is user and login password is ollo. Users can change the default login password after successful login.

How can I secure my WiFi connection on the IX380?
Yes, you can setup a password according to your choice to protect any unwanted use of your WiFi.

Where can I change the WiFi SSID and WPA key?
You can change the WiFi SSID and WPA key at http://192.168.1.1 . The IX380 web-based login page will appear. The default login username is user and login password is ollo. Users can change the default WiFi SSID and the default WPA Key.

Does the IX380 support other WiFi security modes?
Yes. The IX380 can support WEP, WPA, WPA2, WPA-PSK and more.

How do I reset the IX380 to factory default settings?
The back of the modem has a reset button. You need to use a small pin to hold the reset button about 10 seconds before taking out your pin. The IX380 will auto restart itself after this.

What is the Ollo Outdoor Modem?
The Ollo Outdoor Modem (OX350) is an integrated modem with highest Signal reception capability that supports Internet access and multiple user sharing.

What are the differences between IX380 Indoor modem and OX350 Outdoor Modem?
The IX380 Indoor modem is comes with a built in WiFi adaptor to enable connection sharing along with 2 (two) RJ-45 port to use via LAN port of your computer. The OX350 doesn’t have built in WiFi but it has more Signal Reception Capability than Indoor, It’s specially designed to use for Corporate houses which are in poor signal area.

What are the contents in the OX350 Outdoor Modem Box?
The modem package contains the OX350 outdoor Modem, a PoE indoor unit, power adapter, a LAN cable, Mounting Kit, Warranty Card and a quick user guide manual.

What is the warranty period of the OX350 Outdoor Modem?
A 12 months warranty is provided when you buy the modem. Conditions are mentioned on the warranty card.

Can I Use other WiFi Router with this modem?
Yes, you can use any other WiFi router/AP with OX350.

Can the OX350 be powered by the USB port?
No, the OX350 must be powered by the supplied power adaptor.

How many people can share the Internet connection on OX350 modem?
The Internet connection can be shared more than one computer using an additional HUB or Switch. But the speed will be dependent on the package you have. The higher speed package you subscribe to, enables more people to share the same Internet connection.

What networking features does OX350 support?

How do I access the OX350 configuration page?

Do subscribers need a user ID & Password for authentication?
No, we are offering you a smart service, where you don’t need to remember/use any user ID and password for get connectivity.

Warranty, support and hardware requirements

Do the subscriber get any warranty for our products?
Yes, each product has 12 months warranty from date of purchase, and the conditions are mentioned on Warranty Card inside the box.

What do I need to enjoy Ollo services?
You need a Desktop / Laptop Ollo Modem and you must be within Ollo Coverage area.

Do the devices have any storage memory so that subscriber can use it like a pen drive?
No, it has no memory for data storage.

Can subscribers use one or more computers simultaneously by using a USB Modem?
No, one USB Modem is for one computer.

Which operating systems and devices does Ollo support?
Ollo Modem can be used with most computers and commonly used operating systems.
